About Us

We are a non-denominational student missions and discipleship organization. We are headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Fueled 30 years of unbridled enthusiasm for both teenagers and the local church we have discipled youth and trained youth workers to minister in their local church and abroad. We passionately believe such disciples will be tomorrow’s history makers for Christ.

Reign Ministries was formed 30 years ago by Louis Inks. While our international headquarters is located Minneapolis, one third of our full-time staff are located in metropolitan areas across the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Today, we accomplish our mission through:

Kairos Discipleship School

Kairos Discipleship School is a discipleship training school for college-age students. It is a 10-month opportunity for post high-school graduates and young adults who want to build a ministry foundation for their futures. Kairos Discipleship School seeks to develop in its participants a deep and abiding love for Jesus out of which all their lives and service flow. Time alone with God in His Word in prayer and in worship are the cornerstones of the school. Students develop godly relationships and teamwork skills as they learn grow serve and play together.

Royal Servants mission trips

Royal Servants is our student summer mission program. We take Jr. high, Sr. high, and college-age students on mission trips all over the world. Royal Servants mission trips last from five to eight weeks. We specialize in discipling students in a deeper personal relationship with the Lord and teaching them to share their faith. Over the years Royal Servants has facilitated over 8, 000 participants. These Christian teens, while predominantly from North America, come from all over the world and over 150 denominations. They have ministered on six continents through 200+ trips.

Youth ministry
in the UK

We have a team of missionary staff actively evangelizing, discipling, and training in the United Kingdom. We have a dream of seeing a movement of God amongst young people in the UK and are training emerging leaders in youth ministry. To learn more, visit http://www.reignministries.co.uk »

Many students write us decades later and tell us how their Royal Servants mission trip experience shaped their walks with Christ and changed the direction of their lives.

i am really interested in doing a mission trip! do you recommend asking a friend to go with you, or just going for the experience yourself?!

    • http://getentangled.com Mark Hoober

Either way! Lots of students come alone. But it is not uncommon for someone to bring a friend. And, you will make a lot of new friends during the trip.

My daughter is 15 and would like to go on one of the mission trips next summer. She has type1 diabetes and we want to know if this is a good idea for her to go.

    • http://getentangled.com Mark Hoober

It is not a bad idea. Students with type 1 have gone before, and other’s have opted not to. We should talk about your particular situation. Give me a call sometime at 763-360-3585.

Hello, I am a 19 year old college student interested in the EuroQuest mission for Summer 2012.
    A few questions:
    1. Noticed it says “Student: 13-18″…can those my age still be included?
    2. Airfare&Ground Cost is $3,995. Is it possible for the Airfare to be deducted since I am planning on scheduling it myself? Or it it simply paid in one big package to Royal Servants?

    • http://getentangled.com Mark Hoober

Vita, we have a very critical role on our mission trips staffed by students your age. Check out the our pages dedicated to students like you: http://reignministries.org/royal-servants/college-age/!

  • Eunice Allen

Are you mission trips only for youth and college age or do you have some for adults as well.  Where are you going this year?

    • http://getentangled.com Mark Hoober

Here are our 2012 mission trip destinations:
      http://reignministries.org/royal-servants/mission-trips/.

Our trips focus on mobilizing jr. high, sr. high, and college age students. There is limited opportunity for adults to participate in leader-oriented roles.

  • Lori

Hi, im 15 years old, and i was wondering if there are any trips that aren’t full for the summer. I know the summer is coming up and i might be a little late in trying to contact someone. Also, I’m not really looking for a particular place to go, so anything thats open will do. Thanks!

    • http://twitter.com/MargaretFischer MargaretFischer

      Hi Lori!

Actually, all of our trips are open right now. Go ahead and apply to any of the trips we offer. You can email me, mfischer(at)reignministries.org if you have specific questions on any of the trips!

We look forward to you serving with us this summer!

  • Beverly grace Pettey!

Hi ! I’m turning 13 next year and was wondering if y’all have the same missions every year.. And since I will be 13, will I get to go to any places?? Like euro quest?

    • Margaret Fischer

      Hi Beverly,
Yes, at 13 you will definitely be able to travel with us. Some of our trips stay the same from year to year but not all of them. Most likely we will have EuroQuest again. Check back in October for the 2013 listings!
      Blessings,
      Margaret

  • Sally

Hi, do you have any mission trips for older adults and if not can you suggest a mission that does?

    • Margaret Fischer

      Hi Sally,
Sorry but we are a youth missions organization. I would suggest going to http://www.shorttermmissions.org. It is a search engine for mission trips where you can search by specific criteria.
      Blessings,
      Margaret

  • Tom

Do you have a non-profit status?

    • Margaret Fischer

      Hi Tom,
Yes we do. We are 501(c)(3).
