I am married to Mark; we met on a blind date in college.
I was born in Hollywood, California but moved to central Kansas when I was four. I grew up in Concordia, a town of 8,000. I went to Kansas State University and got my B.S. in elementary education. I have taught kindergarten and first grade. I love teaching children about Jesus, and I love discipling my kids. I have a heart for all kids. I like to read, and I particularly enjoy books on parenting and behavior.
After being asked at church repeatedly, “What curriculum did you use to disciple your kids?” I decided to write a book on our approach of reading the Bible story. You can learn more about it on our family website.
