Course Work

You: Prepared To Serve. That Is Our Objective.

Kairos is designed to put you on a path that will:

  • Shine the light of Christ in your culture and around the world.
  • Prepare you to serve the local church and community.
  • Make you a relevant leader.

Our training consists of two instructional methods…

(1) Learning By Lecture

20 loaded weeks of classroom instruction:

(2) Learning by Application

Through Internships

As a part of the Kairos Discipleship School you will apply what you are learning in the classroom by serving as an intern in the ministries of a local church. We identify areas where you have passion or a desire to develop new skills and then plug you into those ministries. These include areas like youth and children’s ministry, social activities, audio/visual, lighting, music ministry, administration, and media. Serving in this way will provide you with a healthy and consistent environment for you to give away what you are learning gain new skills and develop an appreciation for the local church.

In the second semester you will intern at the Reign Ministries headquarters in Minneapolis, helping prepare for our summer mission trips with Royal Servants.

By Presenting the Call

In the first semester of the Kairos Discipleship School you will be a part of a team that will travel to Christian schools and youth groups where you will use drama and public speaking to present missions opportunities.

Practicing Leadership

An exciting part of that internship will be a leadership adventure in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness of northern Minnesota!

Go Into All The Nations

You will also spend two and one-half weeks engaged in cross-cultural evangelism in Honduras where you will…

From mid June to mid August you will apply your training as a staff discipler on a Royal Servants mission trip. You will gain key leadership experience and an opportunity to put into practice all you have learned as you lead a small group of teenagers overseas.
