Christine D. was on the Euroquest mission trip in the summer of 2011. This is what she would like to share about what she learned this summer.

This summer on Euro Quest has been unforgettable. I have built a lot of great relationships and grown stronger in my faith. Back home I felt like a light but I was still embarrassed during worship to raise my hands. It sounds silly but I guess I’ve just been caring too much what people think of me. This trip has given me the ability not to be afraid. I feel so good praising Jesus now, not looking for people to accept me but just praising God. At training camp I felt God’s grace and I guess I just never saw it that way. God touched me and during communion I felt His presence which is just an indescribable feeling. I’ve also been learning just to dig deeper in the Word of God but most of all to act on the word which I still need to work on. I’ve been having trouble with my testimony because there’s not much to it but I’m giving it to the Lord because I can’t do it on my own. Also talking with others is still something I’m finding a little bit difficult but I’m excited when I come home to be an even bolder light coming into high school.
