Donette went on Royal Servants in 1983 and later served on staff with her husband, Carl. Lindsay, their daughter, was a part of our Royal Servants mission trip to Scotland in 2007.

Dear Louie Peggy,

It has been quite an emotional experience helping Lindsay prepare to go on RS this summer. Floods of memories! Memories of my own adventure as a teen in 1983, the years Carl; I was on staff with Reign [Ministries] now, the joy of having our child go. A heavy dose of emotion & nostalgia.

Lindsay didn’t apply to go until May. We were concerned how support raising would go with such a tight time frame. What a faith journey! In roughly 2 weeks the majority of the money was raised—to God be the glory! I so remember how most RS work for months at support raising I rejoice at God’s extravagant intervention on Lindsay’s behalf. Grace! Louie—do you remember Jane from WA—one of our staff gals in 1992? Here’s an except from a letter she sent

Linds – : In considering how much to contribute financially, for some reason memories of my own fund raising popped into my head the number that jumped out at me was that dreadful number that still stared at me come deadline time. For some reason, that last just loomed so large. So …I would like to joyfully give you the requested $100, plus more because I’ve been there know that the money always comes from unexpected places.” This was so unexpected—so beyond anything we dare ask, think, dream or hope!

Lindsay is so ready for the challenge of RS so eager to grow deeper & richer in her spiritual walk. I treasure that God is allowing her her own RS experience. I’m thrilled RS is still standing strong after 25 years God’s abundant favor is still upon it. I’m sure achieving the millstone of 25 years hasn’t been without struggles trials I just want to say again from my heart thank you! Thank you for your work, your sacrifices, your perseverance, your vision, your love. Our lives have been deeply touched now the immense joy of seeing our daughter gifted with the same RS opportunity—its way more than a dream come true! It will always be one of the most precious and meaningful highlights of our lives.
