Does being a staff discipler sound like a big job? Don’t worry. We will help you get fully prepared. Remember we have been doing this for 30 years. We know how to equip and support you to face a new challenge also. We are always there to back you up.
Preparation begins with a week of training at Training Camp. That week happens the week before the students do Training Camp the third week of June. That is why the mission trip length is one week longer for staff disciplers than it is for students.
During that time you will be required to experience what the students experience so you can understand what they go through and are prepared to help them through. You will also receive special training for leading your discipleship group. We will help you to understand which challenges you should try to lead and overcome and which you should turn to the team leader. That week is also important for developing a bond with the team leader and Sr. staff. You are going to share many challenges laughs and victories together.
