About the Ireland mission trip

  • Ireland is a post-Christian society.
  • The students will share Christ and reach out to a people that have rejected what they once believed about Christ.
  • They will start in Londonderry, Northern Ireland partnering with a local church and the its youth group to run Bible clubs and plan student events at the church.  They will also perform on the downtown streets.
  • Then the team heads to the beach—not to swim it’s too cold—but to minister in the beachside town of Skerries.
  • In Skerries, our  students will work with two former Royal Servants’ students, Cory and Gwen Peters, to minister to this Dublin bedroom community.  They organize a kids club during the day, youth outreach performances in afternoons and evenings, and evangelism on the beach and in the center of Dublin.

All students have arrived in Chicago, except for the last one at 12:30, and all has gone smoothly. There has been only one hitch. The Burnam family’s (leading Euroquest) red-eye flight was cancelled. They are coming in tonight.

Staff disciplers Ebony and Jimmy Lipps at the church in Chicago helping with airport pickups.

RT @thebassoflife: Ever wonder how much soda you’d need for 245 people?
