About the Nepal mission trip

  • The students on the Nepal mission trip conduct dramatic public performances in villages outside of Katmandu and in Nepali schools where Hinduism is the official religion.
  • They use these performances to draw crowds and then share with them one-on-one about Jesus Christ.  It is a great chance to talk about their own beliefs as they listen to Nepali people about theirs.
  • They visit orphanages and show the children God’s love by caring for them.  These lonely kids mob them because they are so hungry to be loved.
  • They trek through rice paddies to minister in a leper colony learning how to love untouchables by sitting in their world playing games and spending time with them.  There is a church next door: students from past Royal Servants teams have played a critical role in planting establishing and maintaining the first church in this leper colony.
  • The team visits with Shanta who heads a ministry that rescues young girls from sex trafficking.  These girls have been stolen lied to and sold into the human trafficking system.  Shanta brings them to a safe home” and helps them re-enter their homes and villages by teaching them profitable skills providing counseling and sharing with them about the love of Jesus.  Your students will meet Shanta’s rescued girls worship with them and pray for this vital ministry.
