Nepal Mission Trip

Until 2006 Nepal was the world’s only Hindu nation. In 1991 Nepal had merely 50,000 Christians, but today there are more than 800,000 Christians in 6,000 church congregations! Nepal also has the distinction of having 8 of the world’s 10 highest mountains.

The Ministry

There is no shortage of ministry on the Nepal mission trip. You’ll perform in villages and schools, love on kids in orphanages, trek through rice paddies to minister in a leper colony, and encourage and pray for Shanta’s “girls” at a safe house for those rescued from sex trafficking.

Adventure

As you’re hiking through the mountains and passing through primitive villages, you learn what it means to have your heart broken. You won’t see Mt. Everest, but at over 24,000 feet, the sight of Annapurna I isn’t too shabby! The mountains, ministry and a people you end up falling in love with…did we mention the word adventure was invented to describe the incredible experience you’ll have in Nepal?

Spiritual Growth

When you encounter a people who readily accept Jesus as just another god they can worship, climb 365 steps to the Monkey Temple (a step for each day of the year), and see people bow and lay offerings before idols, it’s hard to stay the same. The Lord will use Nepal to challenge you to know and live what you believe!

New Friends

When you travel halfway around the world together you get to know one another pretty well!  You will forge deep friendships as you travel and minister together in Nepal.  At the end of a hard day of ministry you will appreciate the time with your friends to worship and praise the Lord together.  You are going to learn about Kingdom love and develop friendships that honor the Lord and make Him smile.
