Donation Procedure

When someone receives your support letter and decides to make a gift, there are three ways they can make their gift:

1. They can write a check to Reign Ministries and return it with the sponsorship card in the special donation envelope you provided in their support packet.
2. They can give online here.  You can copy the following URL in an email to send to others if you like: https://www.egsnetwork.com/gift/gift.php?giftid=987CB98F-8E54-49C1-A741-DB61173F489F.
3. They can give their donation directly to you.  If this occurs you must send it in to Reign Ministries as soon as possible.  Please follow the guidelines below.

When A Donation Is Given To You

When someone gives you a donation for your mission trip send the gift immediately to Reign Ministries at:

If it is a check and payable to your name write on the back of the check “Pay to the order of Reign Ministries” and sign it.  This way your donors can receive a tax-deductible receipt.

If someone gives you cash, deposit the money and write a check to Reign Ministries for the total amount.  Send it to Reign Ministries along with a note listing who the donation was from and their address.  If your check is for multiple cash gifts, provide the names address and gifts amounts for each donor.

A donor may make a gift to you personally for preparation expenses like your passport overseas health insurance policy and items on your packing list.  Their gift must be cash a check payable to your name or the item they purchase.  They will not receive a tax-deductible receipt from Reign Ministries.

Send all donations immediately. Do not hold the checks or cash until later.  We want to serve your donors well by giving them a quick acknowledgement and receipt.  We also monitor your support progress.  Additionally Reign Ministries is already booking tickets making bus reservations and purchasing food for your place on the team.  We need the donations for your trip immediately to start covering the costs.

Monitoring Your Progress

When the office receives donations for your mission trip, we will:

• process those donations
• send your donors a tax-deductible receipt
• email you a report of your gifts.  Reports are automatically generated and are sent on a weekly basis.  Be sure to watch your email inbox.  This is the only way you can know who sends in gifts and how much they send.
