China Weather Updates

Here are the updates from the China team regarding typhoon Maria. Spoiler - the team is fine and everyone is safe.

1st Update sent yesterday morning:
“Its 7:30 am and she's arrived. So far just High winds and a little bit a rain. However they expect the worst of it at around noon. Will keep you updated.”

2nd Update sent yesterday afternoon:
“Maria Update: high winds and heavy rain, but all is well. The team is in their rooms for devotions and we will all meet together at 11:00 for a teaching. Note: this was a bad time for one of our students to remember that she had left clothes on the roof to dry from yesterday. Obviously they are no longer dry but thankfully only one sock is missing. We figure it is still in the air and somewhere near Mongolia by now.”

Last Update sent early this morning:
"All is well and the storm has passed. After some pretty strong winds and heavy rain Maria moved out of the Fuzhou area at about 2:00 this afternoon. The city and all events are now back to normal. So I just wanted you to know that all is well and everyone is fine. We'll jump right back into the program schedule again tomorrow."
