Presummer Letter: Experience More

Here I am sitting in the Training Camp office, totally and completely distracted.

For me, a nervous, wired feeling grows in the pit of my stomach.

I get focused.

I try not to think about all the things I still have to do so I don’t get overwhelmed.

And I strive to balance the bittersweet feelings of this time of year.

Bitter, because being gone from home and family for 9 ½ weeks is never easy; but sweet because I’m about to head off to China with a team of students, doing what the Father has called me to do. Good times.

Those of us on Reign Ministries’ staff left home on Wednesday, May 30th. We came from all parts of the country and converged on the tiny little town of Pardeeville, WI, with the specific goal of setting up camp and getting everything ready for those of you still to come.

Staff disciplers, we'll see you in a week. Students, we'll see you in two.

And whatever emotion you may feel as you get ready to join us – we've all felt it. Really, we have! It’s normal. Just push through and trust the Lord, because He will walk you through it. But also know that…

We are praying for you.

Preparing for you.

Waiting for you.

See you on The Hilltop!
