Uganda Team 2019 - Update #14

Today we had the joy of visiting and serving alongside an amazing organization making a huge impact. Show Mercy International’s core
mission is to provide life-giving care, encouragement and love to the children living in Uganda. One of the powerful ways they are
accomplishing this is through their child sponsorship program which provides education, clean water, medical care and agricultural
training.

Show Mercy and their staff passionately serve with village leaders, family members, local churches and pastors to find the best
sustainable solutions for the benefit of the child and the community they belong to.

We divided our team into four groups that ministered to an elderly woman on a home visit, prayed over a family of a sponsored child, did outreach at a local high school, and helped on a farm by learning an agricultural method called “Farming God’s Way,” all groups led by Show Mercy staff.

When we reconvened, our students were filled with laughter, amazement and moving stories to tell. It was so inspiring to witness the
transformation of hearts and lives that Show Mercy has been a part of through the help of God’s power and His people for the past several years.

Tomorrow we head back to Show Mercy for another beautiful day of serving together. We can’t wait!!
