There’s not much to report when we spend 6 hours in the bus.
There’s the hum of tires rolling on pavement, the slight rattling of open windows, and the white noise of wind brushing our faces.
There’s spurts of laughter and chatter from students who, though it has already been 3 weeks, still getting to know each other. Some are taking the opportunity of a long nap, while others are testing out for their memory work! We are making the most of our time on a bus!
As we got closer and closer to Gulu we were able to see the rural side, the village side of Uganda. Complete with grass and mud huts, farming land, and oh yes, monkeys!
We can’t wait to just get there already!
And we finally made it!!
Say hello to your student from Gulu!
