Kairos Minneapolis is located at the Reign Ministries headquarters in Crystal, Minnesota, and Kairos Seattle is located at Madison Community Church in Everett, Washington. The school year runs from September through May. Check out the latest session details on the location pages.Close
The total cost of Kairos for both school locations is $10,500. This amount covers food, housing, training costs, books, stateside mission trip, international mission trip, expedition trips, and administrative costs. Along with personal contributions, students are encouraged to raise support for Kairos. While there are multiple financial due dates throughout the year, we strongly recommend raising as much of the total cost as you can before Kairos begins.
Each student will live with a host family while they are in Kairos. This provides a home atmosphere and gives our students opportunities to serve.Close
Kairos Discipleship School has been blessed with some incredible host families. All of our host families are chosen through our partnership churches and personal recommendations from our staff, local churches, pastors, and former host families. Our host homes go through an application process, personal interview, and background check.Close
Our schedule is very full and we travel frequently, so you will not be able to work outside of Kairos.Close
We strongly recommend bringing a vehicle. Students will need a ride to and from class each day, and having a vehicle also frees you up for activities outside of the regular classroom times. If a student does not have a vehicle they can carpool with another student who does. It is required that students in a carpool provide a minimum of $15 a week to the driver to cover the cost of gas.Close
Kairos class sizes vary by year and usually range between 8 - 14 students at each school location. This allows for more interaction and closer relationships.Close
Throughout the week you will be involved in a variety of activities. You will have three hours of classroom teaching each day Monday through Friday, spend time in worship and prayer, meet with your small group, have a weekly one-on-one with your small group leader, serve in a local church ministry, and, of course, join in fun group activities! Outside of class time, you will be reading through the Bible, working on memory verses, and writing reflection papers on some great books you’ll read throughout the year.Close
