Jerry Skifstad
Strategic Partnerships Coordinator
About:
I am a middle child with 6 siblings. I was raised in a Christian home (my father was a pastor), and I asked Christ into my life around the age of 9. After high school I was a volunteer working with teenagers in my church. One day the pastor encouraged me to consider going back to school with the idea of working with youth one day. That conversation changed my life. I am a graduate of Covenant Bible College (1971), Oak Hills Bible College (1973-76), and Bryan College with a B.A. in Christian Ed/Youth (1977-79). I was married in 1975, and the Lord blessed us with three amazing children. My wife, Beth, passed away in her sleep while at Royal Servants Training Camp in 1999. I have worked as a Christian Education/Youth Director from 1980-1984, as a youth pastor from 1986-1992, on staff with Reign Ministries (1992-2004), and with SEND International (2005-2018) with 8 of those years as part of a church-planting team in Poland. I rejoined Reign staff on July 1, 2018 and serve as the Strategic Partnerships Coordinator. I love working with youth and making disciples who are able to disciple others. I also love bringing people together to accomplish a common vision of reaching more youth here in the US and, Lord willing, around the world.
