Coronavirus and Remaining Relationally Close
Stephenie Carr
How can we attempt to remain relationally close when we can’t be physically close?
This is the first of a series of video thoughts/devotionals from Reign Ministries staff as we all navigate the unknown together. Stay tuned for more next week!

Hey! Stephenie Carr here with the Alumni Department at Royal Servants. A lot has changed in the last week. Thursday this time I was living life as normal. And we walk around this week and it feels like I’m in the midst of a zombie apocalypse movie. Okay, maybe I’m being a little bit dramatic, but still, it’s weird right? But in all of this I still have the question of,
‘What does it look like to love others well, when the most loving thing we can do is to remain publicly distant from people?’
‘What does it look like to remain close relationally when we can’t be close physically?’
So this is our invitation to you, we’d love to hear some of your ideas f=of things you’ve come up with in the midst of all of this on how to continue to love others.
Some ideas I’ve already heard just to give you some examples to get you started or spark some creativity.
1. To order random amazon packages for people who be unsuspecting of a gift.
2. To pray for people and then to write a note and send it to them, to let them know you’ve been praying for them.
3. Another one, my family and I just decided yesterday to just get out of the house for a little bit, I mean driving is still safe, right? So we did. And we delivered toilet paper to some friends who didn’t have any.
So I want to hear your ideas! If you could comment below and help spark others’ creativity to how we can love each other while in the midst of this time.
