A Quick Update from the Costa Rica Trip Leader

God has given us a beautiful setting to focus on Him! We are spending our first week surrounded by rainforest. Our team has been staying at a Christian camp in Alajuela. We have been tasked with painting, cleaning brush with machetes, and other much needed improvements.

This camp will serve as a place to minister to students from Costa Rica. It will be a place that youth pastors are trained to disciple their students. We are always reminding ourselves as a team of the bigger picture. The work of our hands is serving many who will use this camp to bring God glory.

Our team has been taking time to read God’s word, pray for each other, and also focus on building each other up. We have enjoyed the endless coffee, the distant view of mountains, and the daily rainstorms. This team is choosing to love each other, one day at a time. It is a joy to witness!
