Kenya - Final Update

Well, it's been a great time debriefing in London. Our time here has been just as busy, if not more so, than our time in Kenya. We spent our first two days, Wednesday and Thursday, going through all of the debriefing teachings, personal studies, reports, and even did a small service project for the church (we passed out fliers advertising events at the church and community center). Friday we went to London to do some touristy things with the team. I won't spoil all the stories for you, but let's just say, at one point our team was on two different sides of the world at once!

Today, the team is out in London in their D-groups. It is the first and only time they have been somewhere without us senior staff. It's always an interesting moment for me, watching them walk away, feeling a slight moment of freedom and sadness at the same time. Freedom because I don't have to try to watch all 16 of them at once, and sadness realizing that I don't get to spend our last day together, all together.

But they'll be back soon and we'll wrap up our time tonight sharing communion, encouragement, and a few other surprises.

I'll attach a few of our pictures from yesterday for you. I'll be sure to update everyone when we're getting ready to leave London. Otherwise, my little samosas ... uh ... I mean your students, will see you tomorrow.

On behalf of Royal Servants and the Kenya leadership team, thank you for your prayers, support, and giving these dear ones the chance to serve with us this summer!

Blessings,

Margaret
