Nepal Team 2019 Update 4

The Nepal Team is at the Monkey Temple learning about Buddhism and Hinduism so we can know how to share the love of Jesus with the people.

Today we visited the Buddhist temple, or Monkey temple (yes it has monkeys), as one of our culture and heritage days. In order to understand a people it is important to understand their religion and culture, which are greatly intertwined here in Nepal. Chase, one of our D-group disciples, shared his thoughts on experiencing this unique cultural icon and the importance of understanding a people in order to best demonstrate God’s love to these people in a place where our words cannot.
