“After 14 years, my experience with Royal Servants has still been one of the most memorable and definite highlights of my life. I am still using the training I received.” — Royal Servant Alumni

On the Updated Mission Schedule we announced that we were not having an Open House this year. Based on the input we received, the Royal Servants leadership team revisited the subject, and upon reflection feel we can indeed make it happen at Training Camp this year! As you can imagine, each day at Training Camp is critical to the preparation and development of the students. Each and every part of Training Camp is designed to help your student prepare to serve the Lord overseas with excellence. From the day he or she arrives on the hilltop, to the time we pack up the last tent, we strive to spiritually and emotionally equip each participant for their summer of service.

For those of you who can get to Wisconsin, families will have an opportunity to visit with their Students or Summer Staff. It’s going to be pretty low-key, but everyone (mom/dad, grandparents, siblings, pastors, etc.) is invited!

We’ll set aside time on a busy day for you to hang out, see the camp, or have a picnic for a few hours. We’ll cap off the time by asking you to join us in a time of worship and commissioning, as teams begin heading to the airport later that evening.

Important! Students will not be able to leave Training Camp during Open House. While this might be disappointing, we believe this to be the best policy for our team building and safety. Thank you for your understanding.

Visitors are welcome on Saturday, July 29, 2024 from 2:30-5:30 pm. And while all Royal Servants will be eating in their teams afterward, feel free to bring snacks and other good things to eat and drink! If you would like more comfortable seating than a camping stool, please bring lawn or camping chairs. If you plan to come, RSVP online at www.reignministries.org/royal-servants/open-house-registration, or by clicking the link at the top of the page. Please RSVP by Wednesday, June 26.

Great treats to bring: Brownies, Rice Krispie treats, or cookies are great, and you can bring enough to share with the team if you want. Please do not bring any food that can spoil or that requires heating or refrigeration.

Please do not bring the following items for your students: I-pod or similar music devices, cell phone, extra money or credit cards, anything not listed on the packing list.

A Word from the President

When you arrive, you will find a simple camp, perfectly straight lines of tents, and students walking in groups of three. We are inviting you into this environment to allow you to taste and experience it for yourself.

Each day we intentionally engage in specific activities that encourage students to stretch and grow new physical and spiritual muscles. It is our desire to share the philosophy of why we do what we do and provide a “behind the scenes” look at Training Camp. We have also set aside time for you to hang out with your Royal Servant and meet his or her teammates.

Our hope is to give parents, pastors, and relatives a peek into the exciting new journey each student has begun. We are looking forward to have you join us!
